When a facility has the N/A box checked off on their group rights template, it does not allow the Network to access their flu summary data in NHSN. In order for the Network to be able to see this data, the facility has to remove the check in the N/A box.


How to fix group’s rights template so Network can see a facility’s flu summary data:

  • Facility’s NHSN Administrator logs into NHSN and selects the Healthcare Personnel Component

    • Click Group on the blue navigation pane on the left side of the screen

    • Select Confer Rights

    • Remove or uncheck the N/A box

    • Save or submit
