It is important to notify the ESRD Network as soon as you begin opening a new dialysis facility.  The ESRD Network will assist you with establishing access to systems required by CMS under the ESRD Network Program.

The IPRO ESRD Network program to you and your staff. CMS relies on ESRD Networks to develop relationships with dialysis and transplant professionals, healthcare providers, and kidney patients to create a collaborative environment to improve the quality of life in the renal patient population.  IPRO has been serving as a federally funded contractor since 2006 in this role. The Network is responsible to involve facilities and kidney patients in CMS directed quality improvement projects, evaluate and resolve patient grievances and assure patient access to care, ensure complete and accurate registry data, and support the ESRD community during emergencies.  Our website can be accessed at and contains information on CMS quality improvement goals, patient engagement, emergency preparedness, data management, and other ESRD specific news and educational resources.
